I have transformed my passion for languages into my profession, translation, that I shape according to my interests: from literature and art to political and social sciences… In the background, the Middle East and the Arab world are the common thread of my professional and personal path.
I translate from French, English and Arabic ‒ literary and Levantine ‒ into Italian, which is my mother tongue.
For me, translating means to draw on my own linguistic and cultural substratum in order to express concepts born in another substratum, after imagination, memories, associations and intuitions have made inroads.
