After obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in foreign languages and literatures (English-Arabic-French), I moved to Paris and completed a Post-baccalaureate Degree in literary translation at the University of Paris 8.
Freelance translator based in Paris, since 2010, I work on a regular basis for mostly French and Italian companies.
My interest towards the Arab and Muslim world brought me to stay in Morocco, Tunisia and Lebanon, and to get in contact with their own cultures and dialects. At the same time, the Master’s Degree “Mediterranean Studies” ‒ at the Florence University Faculty of Political Sciences ‒ gave me the chance to structure this interest and provided me with some foundations of geopolitics, which are essential in order to understand these countries better.
